Spaz 0.2.1 (Windows, Freeware, 1.83MB) is a free cross-platform Twitter client. It is intended to be a simple, utilitarian desktop app for posting updates to Twitter, as well as viewing updates from friends, followers and the public timeline.
Also available for Mac and Linux.
I hope that in the future releases, you can set the size of the text to smaller fonts, in order to lessen the display footprint.
