Zoundry Blog Writer 1.0.29 (Windows, Freeware, 6.3MB) is a rich WYSIWYG blogging editor that's as easy to use as a word processor. With just a few clicks of a mouse instead of complex HTML coding, you can do things like drag and drop images, create block quotes, and format links to open in a new window.
Recent changes:
- Added ability to append "Powered by Zoundry" to the end of each post. If you do not mind having this on your post, please check this option in the Publish Dialog. The link to Zoundry allows us to track usage of the application using search engines such as Technorati.
- Changes to media repository: original file names are retained when possible (i.e. no conflicts). If a file has been previously uploaded, then it will not be re-uploaded unless you check the "Re-upload" option.
- A few bug fixes, including client-side work arounds for WordPress and MT server related bugs.
- You can now add custom (non-xhtml, such as for WP plug-ins) tags via xhtml editor.
- And more.
Zoundry Blog Writer is currently my favorite blog client. It supports Blogger, WordPress.com, and other major blog services. And it's completely free.
