WellGet 1.25 Beta 1 (Windows, Freeware, 972KB) [via FileForum] is a download manager tagged to be for the new generation. It promises to break free from the traditional methods of downloading software, and would substantially increase downloading rates through Mutli-threading.
One interesting feature is the capability to watch or listen to media file while it is being downloaded.
I personally use FreshDownload as my download manager, but I do find WellGet to be very interesting, especially that its file size is just under 1MB. Anyone who tried this already?
