Songbird 0.2 Preview (Windows/Mac/Linux) is a desktop Web player, a digital jukebox and Web browser mash-up. Like Winamp, it supports extensions and skins feathers. Like Firefox^��, it is built from Mozilla^��, cross-platform and open source.

The original comment on Songbird was "promises to be the Firefox of media players", but I believe that it is more similar to the Flock concept. I personally like both iTunes and Winamp, and would occassionally use one or the other. It would be great to have a player that has the functionality of iTunes and the flexibility of Winamp.
