K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 4.80 (Windows, Freeware, 19.4MB) [alt DL] s a collection of codecs, DirectShow filters and tools. Codecs and DirectShow filters are needed for encoding and decoding (playing) audio and video formats. The mega variant has almost the same contents as the full variant, but additionally contains Real Alternative and some extra VFW/ACM codecs.
