Ecofont 2.00 – Font That Can Save Up to 20% Ink

ecofont ink saver font

Ecofont 2.00 (Windows, Freeware, 52KB) is based on an Open Source font. It lets you conserve ink by making the letters “lightweight”. After extensive testing with all kinds of shapes, the best results were achieved using small circles. After lots of late hours (and coffee) this resulted in a font that uses up to 20% less ink.

This font works best for OpenOffice, AppleWorks and MS Office 2007. Printing with a laser printer will give the best printing results.
