Pidgin 2.4.2 - Full Featured Open Source IM Client

Pidgin 2.4.2 (Windows, Open Source, 12.4MB) [download via FileHippo] is a multi-protocol instant messaging (IM) client for Linux, BSD, MacOS X, and Windows. It is compatible with AIM and ICQ (Oscar protocol), MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, SILC, GroupWise Messenger, and Zephyr networks.

Also available for Linux.

Changes:

• added some usability changes in this release, including the typing notification, buddyicon and input area size in the conversation windows, escape to close conversation windows etc.
• fixed some memory leaks
• MSN buddy list synchronization should be significantly less painful now,
  and opening MSN inboxes might work better too. SILC passphrase changes
  and support for passphrase-less keys has been improved also.
