RyanVM's Windows XP Post-SP2 Update Pack 2.2.1 - Make a New Updated XP CD Installer

RyanVM's Windows XP Post-SP2 Update Pack 2.2.1 (Windows XP, Freeware, 52.8MB) [download via FileForum] is designed to bring a Windows XP CD with SP2 integrated fully up to date with all of the latest hotfixes released by Microsoft since SP2's release. It accomplishes this task via direct integration, where files on the CD are directly overwritten by the updated files. This method has numerous advantages over other integration techniques.

Requires RyanVM Integrator to make the CD.

Changes:

  • Latest Windows XP Hotfixes (as of March 2, 2008)
  • Adobe Flash Player 9.0.115.0 ActiveX Control
  • Macrovision SafeDisc Driver Fix 4.3.86
  • Microsoft European Union Expansion Font Update 1.2
  • Microsoft Qfecheck 6.2.29.0
  • Microsoft Update 7.0.6000.381
  • Microsoft Web Folders 9.60.6715.0 (KB892211)
  • Microsoft Windows Script 5.6.8831 (Includes KB917344 Hotfix)
  • MSXML 4.0 SP2 (Includes KB941833 Hotfix)
  • And a couple of Registry tweaks

If you are planning to re-install Windows XP on your current box, or a new install on a new setup, creating a new XP CD installer that includes the post SP2 updates would be a real time saver.
