Workrave 1.8.5 - Prevent RSI

Workrave 1.8.5 (Windows, Open Source, 7.07MB) [d/l via FileForum] is a program that assists in the recovery and prevention of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). The program frequently alerts you to take micro-pauses, rest breaks and restricts you to your daily limit.

Changes:

  • Task manager is never blocked by Workrave
  • Workaround for focus loss on Vista
  • Translation into Slovenian
  • Fixed breaks that have 'suspend timer when inactive' disabled
  • Improved Windows responsiveness under high load
  • Mode menu fixed
  • Gnome applet no longer 'hangs' and crashes Workrave
  • Fixed locking on Gnome with xscreensaver installed
  • Fixed crashes during startup on Windows
  • Fixed 'end-of-microbreak' sound
  • Fixed bug in multi-head support where Workrave showed multiple windows on a single screen
  • Other bug fixes and changes

Nice software that monitors computer usage. I'm sure a lot of people get so engrossed in what they are doing on the computer, that they go on, and on, and on... Oh, yes, I have a tip: try to force yourself to blink once in a while.
