K-Lite Codec Pack 3.25 Full (Windows, Freeware, 12.23MB) [download via Filehippo] is a collection of codecs, DirectShow filters and tools. Codecs and DirectShow filters are needed for encoding and decoding (playing) audio and video formats.

• The MPEG-2/DVD decoder will now be deselected by default if nVidia PureVideo is detected as installed. The pack already did this for other popular decoders.
