GreatNews 1.0 Beta (Build 379) (Windows, Freeware, 1.25MB) is a free RSS news feed reader that features fast reading, news highlighting, and the ability to save & organize articles. Absolutely no adware/spyware, and doesn't need .NET or Java runtime.
Recent changes:
- Changed: Upgraded GreatNews codebase to use VS2005. All libraries were upgraded to their latest versions. Several stability issues were solved.
- Fixed: Some correction to English language pack
- Fixed: GreatNews cannot track comments on Atom1.0 feed.
- Added: Vietnamese language pack
