Portable Opera @USB (Windows, Freeware, 3.9MB) is an unzip-and-install version of Opera 9 that you can use with a USB flash drive. Two versions are currently available: Opera 9 Final Build 8501 for USB and Opera 9 Final Build 8501 for U3-USB.
Recent changes:
- Bug with tempdir is fixed
- Opera 9 U3 is available
With this, you could surf the web using Opera 9 and your USB flash drive on any Windows PC. This would prove very useful when using public computers, office PCs, or PCs owned by friends & family. You don't need to install anything on the host PC, and after you finish surfing, no private data is left behind.
